Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named the team to play in what is his first Manchester United game at Old Trafford as manager.
However, he has to do without Anthony Martial, who is unwell.
“He must have had a bad chef over Christmas,” Solskjaer told MUTV.
“If it’s food poisoning or something. I don’t know, but he has fallen ill over Christmas.”
Elsewhere, Juan Mata, Fred and Diogo Dalot start, while Huddersfield have also made changes, with Erik Durm, Elias Kachunga and Laurent Depoitre coming in for Chris Lowe, Juninho Bacuna and Steve Mounie.
United haven’t lost a home league game on Boxing Day since the 1978/79 season (0-3 versus Liverpool), winning 14 and drawing three since.
Ahead of the game, Solskjaer said: “We are at home we want the crowd and the players to be excited, we want to attack this game from the start, it’s gong to be a different challenge to the Cardiff game of course because we are at home expected to attack and go and create chances all of the time.”
